FOHA’s goal is to create an environment where adolescent girls can discover as a community, their talents and potential, achieve self-value, self-actualization and discipline through economic and social empowerment as measured by health seeking behavior, education, economic security, control over their bodies and health, so as to improve their living standards and become leaders in their community and in society as a whole.

Key projects:
FOHA offers a safe space and supportive environment for 500 non-members girls annually. As a drop-in center, girls are able to freely interact with each others, expand their social network and learn SRHR through our monthly sexuality discussions. FOHA is an initiative by local girls for local girls, based on solidarity and empowerment through promoting Adolescence SRHR, education as a right for girls, developing adolescent girls financial skills and literacy.
We advocate and lobby among the community leaders and members to end gender based violence through organizing 6 open community forums, on March 8th International Women’s Day, on May 28th The International Day of Action for Women's Health and September 28th, The Global Day of Action for Decriminalization of Abortion, annually reaching to over 1000 people.
